The skeleton plate series brings together appropriated 18th century images with my technique of gold and platinum lustre application. I was fascinated by the beautiful illustrative quality of these anatomical sketches and I was curious to see how they could be incorporated into my own ceramic work. hese explorations are only the beginning of a theme that i will expand in future reiterations.
